One Month Into 30! And Oh, So Much Has Happened

I personally knew my month long 30th birthday celebration was going to be a bit surreal, but geez, I had no idea what a whirlwind August 2011 was going to be: Convention, Birthday, Wedding, Outer Banks, Earthquake, Hurricane Irene, Outer Banks Evacuation, etc.  Needless to say, it was a lot of fun, made all the more special by a huge group of family and friends that trekked across the country and down from D.C. to help me celebrate in the Outer Banks (just sorry Hurricane Irene caused us to cut our time together short...).

Here is a quick re-cap of the first 30 days of being 30....

Technically, Convention pre-dated by 30th Birthday, but I see it has the kick-off to my birthday every two years.
Birthday dinner at Mi Vecinda!
One ridiculously hot bride and her three very fun friends!
Before Hurricane Irene, Happy Hour was spent on the water!
Hurricane Irene caused an early vacation evacuation for us!
Ha! Hurricane Irene couldn't thwart a trip to Three Fox Vineyard!
